We all have that one friend who we just can’t live without. Being with them is always a blast, and when it comes time to part ways, it’s always a difficult ordeal.

Meet Nugget: an adorable 8-month-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi from Georgia.

It’s almost Thanksgiving, whose excited?!?! PS: My @barkbox comes tomorrow!!! I’ll do a live unboxing tomorrow evening!

According to Nugget’s owner, 22-year-old Miranda Wassinger, Nugget is a social butterfly.

“He tries to make friends with everyone, whether it’s people or dogs, or even little frogs he sees outside—he just wants to be their friend,” Wassinger told BuzzFeed.

However, a certain pup holds a special place in Nugget’s heart—his neighbor, Bonkers.

Wassinger and her husband are friends with Bonkers’s owners, which is how the two puppies met. From there on, Nugget and Bonkers friendship has blossomed into a brotherly bond.

“It’s kind of like Bonkers is his family, and in a way, kind of his big brother,” Wassinger says

Look at these cuties!

The two were inseparable. In fact, their bond was so strong that every time Wassinger walked near Bonkers’s house, Nugget would drag her to see his best friend.

But one day, tragedy struck. Bonkers’s family had to move away.

Unbeknownst to Nugget, he still tries to drag Wassinger to Bonkers’ house, as seen in this now-viral video.

No, these aren’t tears, my eyes are just sweating.

“We never made a big deal about them leaving because Corgis are pretty perceptive dogs and I was worried he would get depressed,” Wassinger told PawCulture. “But then again, how do you even let a dog know his best friend is moving away?”

Thankfully, Wassinger reassures us that Nugget is doing fine.

Look at that smile!

Let’s all hope that Nugget and Bonkers will be able to reunite in the future. In the meantime, check out Nugget’s Instagram for more adorableness.
