Winter can be a hard time for dogs. Not all dogs know the dangers of winter – for example frozen ponds and rivers or snowdrifts. When they become trapped in a frozen pond, usually some brave man or the emergency services will have to come to the rescue.
But not only humans rescue dogs – dogs can rescue dogs too! Such was the case with a German Shepherd and his pitbull friend – Knuckles. When Knuckles entrapped himself in the deep snow and couldn’t move, the German Shepherd quickly took action.
