Butcher Bar makes its way from Astoria to open a second location on the Lower East Side. It will offer a rotating menu of craft moonshine cocktails and smoked meats—including their famous “meat candy,” or burnt ends. The restaurant sources pasture-raised, hormone- and antibiotic-free meat, with an emphasis on local purveyors.
The barbecue menu includes smoked meats prepared after the styles of Kansas City, St. Louis, and Texas, as well as dishes such as Chili Cheese Nacho Tower and Half Baked Mac & Cheese, topped with beef chili, bacon, and cheese.
