An Indian businessman gave an incredible gift in honor of his daughter’s wedding, but it didn’t go to the bride or the groom.
Instead, Ajay Munot from Aurangabad, India donated 90 houses to the homeless in December, 2016.
“We have some responsibilities towards our society and we tried to comply with it,” he said, according to the Deccan Chronicle.
His daughter didn’t mind at all. In fact, she supported him.
“I am very happy with the decision and will consider it as my marriage gift,” she said.
Ajay had planned to spend more than $100,000 on his daughter’s wedding. However, he was inspired by an Indian politician so he cut down the wedding expenses and donated the rest.
“This is the new chapter in history, and [I] hope that the same concept will be followed by other rich communities,” Ajay said.
