A Friday after Thanksgiving, there was a serious collision that ended with something labeled “nothing short of a miracle.” A baby had been ejected 25 feet from a car-crash was found completely unharmed and unscathed.
It was truly a Thanksgiving miracle!
In Texarkana, Arkansas, an 18-wheeler had changed lanes too soon, and clipped a nearby vehicle carrying a family of five.
This caused the family’s vehicle to flip multiple times until it rested on the side of the freeway. The car was mangled. When first responders came upon the situation, four of the family members were conscious, and appeared to be alright.
But the fifth member, a baby girl, was nowhere to be seen.
Fortunately, a ‘good Samaritan’ heard crying nearby!
To their horror, the rescuers realized that the child had been flung from the vehicle.
A passerby got involved and revealed that crying could be heard within the area, but could not reveal the source.
After more searching, it was realized that the baby managed to land within a drainage grate, and was found completely unscathed.
“The 8-month old was actually sitting down in the grate, sitting up and waiting for us to pull her out,” said firefighter Josh Moore, according to InspireMore.
“There had to be some kind of divine intervention to end up with her being okay the way she was,” he said.
