We may complain when our friends upload baby picture after baby picture onto social media, but it’s because of those people who are constantly snapping photos and filming their child’s every movement that we get to see adorable videos like this one.
Michelle Neely was snuggling with her 15-month-old daughter Gemma Kate, telling her how much she loved her when she caught the cutest thing ever on camera.
“I love yoooooou!”
Every time Michelle said “I love you” in a singsong tone of voice to her daughter, the little girl mimicked her mother. It didn’t even matter that Gemma Kate wasn’t able to properly enunciate the short phrase—she’s only 15 months old after all! The way she stares into the camera and then makes a little high-pitched “oooh” sound makes you want to melt into a pile of mush.
Since the video was uploaded in September 2015, it has been viewed over four million times and at least one million of those views has been us replaying it over and over.
They say imitation is the highest form of flattery!
Surprisingly — though how could you have anything bad to say about this adorable video — the comments have been refreshingly positive. One YouTuber user even suggested that the little girl’s family play it at her wedding.
“This video will follow her for life! Getting married? Yep here it is!” Dennis Neely, the video uploader and Michelle’s husband and Gemma Kate’s father, wrote in reply to the comment.
Hey, at least it’s not a super embarrassing clip. We could name a few worse things that could follow you for the rest of your life.
