An unusual overnight hail storm slammed metro Phoenix, Arizona on Oct 18, 2016, and was said to be one of the most  historic hail storms to ever hit the area.

A tree fell into an apartment in Glendale.

The storm was believed to have been caused by a low pressure air system, pulling moisture back into the region. Many residents reported that the hail broke windshields, house windows, and created lots of other property damage, but happily this hail storm didn’t cause any casualties.
