At first, the woman was hesitant to leave her vehicle despite the fact that she would have likely died if she remained in the vehicle. Thankfully, she eventually decided to leave after onlookers continued to beg her to get out.

The woman thought she wouldn’t make it, but she managed to jump out of her car window and was picked up by one of the rescuers

Then, even after she decided to exit the vehicle, she froze when asked to reach out to the human chain. That’s when one of the heroes literally carried her to safety while risking his own life. The severe thunderstorms that caused the floods have resulted in at least two deaths and multiple destroyed businesses.
