15,000-ton rig stays anchored through massive waves

This North Sea oil rig, called the Borgholm Dolphin,  weighs 15,000-tons, is 108 meters by 68 meters, and still just gets tossed around by the sea.

The semi-submersible platform was built in 1975 to accommodate workers from a nearby oil rig, and one of the workers caught it bobbing up and down during a storm.

It’s pleasant enough to watch if you like waves, but maybe not if you’re prone to seasickness.
