A Home Depot in New York City was evacuated Sunday afternoon after an apparent double shooting.
Police told WABC that two people were shot at the Home Depot on 23rd Street and 6th Avenue in Manhattan.
Bystanders report on social media that a SWAT team was deployed at the scene and that the building was evacuated.
One bystander said that the shooting took place at the “cash register area on second floor.”
Some of the customers were evacuated from the building by Home Depot staff members after the second shot was fired. Some of the customers were hiding in the building, according to an eyewitness.
