These Two Baseball Players Could Be Identical Twins, but Had Never Met Before

Two baseball pitchers happened to have more in common than just their profession. In fact, they’re practically identical twins.

Imagine coming face to face with your doppelganger. Then, you come to learn that both of you share the same name, same hair color, wear the same glasses, and have the same type of job. What are the odds of that?

Well, that is the case for a couple of professional baseball players.

In August 2018, a sports writer for the Texas Rangers saw the remarkable similarities between two baseball players: Brady Feigl and Brady Feigl.

Yes, the two men share the same name and much more.

At a glance, the pair could be mistaken for identical twins, because they both are the same height at 6 feet 4 inches, (1.93 meters), have red hair, a red beard, and wear the same style of glasses.

Both Feigls are pitchers for their respective teams as well. Fiegl, 27, pitches for Round Rock Express in Texas, while the other Fiegl, 22, pitches for the Beloit Snappers in Wisconsin, WTTV reported.

The men had never met each other until Inside Edition set up a meeting in Cedar Rapids.

“It feels like a blind date,” laughed one Feigl as he waited for his doppelganger to arrive.

Upon meeting, they learned another strange coincidence about each other. Both men had the same type of elbow surgery, known as Tommy John, performed by the same doctor. Talk about fortuity!

Both Feigls think their similarities are great and plan to keep in touch.

“I think it’s awesome that there is someone out there who looks like you, but to have the same name, and looks similar, it’s pretty crazy,” Feigl said in the video.
