Popular Thai chefs Hong Thaimee (“Iron Chef,” Ngam) and Pichet Ong will make appearances at the Thaithentic Food and Culture Festival on Aug. 23. The festival is the first Thai-themed upscale food festival event in New York City.

The festival will also feature traditional Thai dance performances, live music, a Thai iced tea/coffee bar, an edible dessert display, and more than 30 food and beverage vendors including SriPraPhai restaurant, Jaiya Thai, Pongsri Thai, Rhong Tiam, Spice, Room Service, and Zabb Elee.
General admission, $45 (8 p.m. admission); VIP, $70, 7 p.m. admission. Tickets include food and beverage tastings and access to Thaithentic’s marketplace.
