2012 UCI Track Cycling World Championships - Day 3

Victoria Pendleton (R) of Great Britain crashed and fell to the floor after clashing arms with Australia’s Anna Meares April 6 at 2012 UCI Track Cycling World Championships at Hisense Arena in Melbourne, Australia. The drama unfolded on day three of the Womens Sprint Semifinals and despite floor burns on her right shoulder, elbow, and hip, Pendleton got up and won the final two races of the best-of-three to advance to the finals.
