A truck caught fire and exploded on Speers Bridge, also known as Belle Vernon Bridge, in Pennsylvania on Monday.
The span carries Interstate 70 over the Monongahela River between Washington and Westmoreland counties, reported WTAE.
Photos from the area show a plume of black smoke coming from the truck.
Traffic has been delayed and smoke is trailing down the road.
Several firefighters are on the scene.
