Sibylle’s Favorite Quotes About Travel

May 19, 2017 Updated: May 19, 2017

As the saying goes, what we all want in life, is to travel, fall in love, and be happy.

Travelling to new places is so enriching on so many levels. One’s curiosity to seek out how others live is sated, obtaining a first hand education, exposure, and a better knowledge of others’ cultures and different ways of living. It transform us, travel after travel, into more humble, tolerant, compassionate, and respectful individuals. It can make us question ourselves sometimes, and surely broaden our horizon and open our mind.

Being worldly is part of a continuous, life-long education, and as Eugene Fodor said once, you don’t have to be rich to travel well.

There are so many different ways to travel—you can surely indulge yourself into the relaxation of a pampering resort or opt for a more adventurous trip; you can get engaged into humanitarian activities in the field; become a more responsible citizen of the world respecting our environment and helping the less fortunate we may have witnessed abroad, and so much more.

But the bottom line is that it all starts in your mind, with your dreams and desire to discover what this vast planet Earth, that we all share, has to offer. And for those who may not be able to travel at all, never loose the thought that each moment is a place you’ve never been.
