A shooting was reported at a school in Townville, South Carolina, according to local media outlets.
WYFF-TV reported that two students and a teacher were injured at Townville Elementary. It’s unclear how severe their injuries are or if there were any deaths.
Deputies with the Anderson County Sheriff’s Department said a suspect was taken into custody following the incident, according to Fox Carolina. Lt. Sheila Cole said officials received reports of the shooting before 2 p.m. local time.
Greenville Online reported that three people were injured in the shooting. EMS and a LifeFlight helicopter are on the scene.
The elementary school, located at 105 Townville School Road near Lake Hartwell. Highway 24, was closed down. Parents were seen waiting nearby as children were brought from the back of the school, WYFF-TV reported.

Evacuated students were taken via bus to the Oakdale Baptist Church in Townville.
A coroner said a man was found dead nearby on Osborne Road, but it is unclear if the death was related to the shooting, the Independent Mail reported.
Townville Elementary School is in Anderson County, near the Georgia state line, and it has 286 students in pre-kindergarten to the sixth grade, according to Greenville Online.
