The Fremont Festival of the Arts was held August 4–5 and featured various artisan booths and entertainment for people to enjoy. One of the booths present at the festival was the Shen Yun Performing Arts ticket sales booth.

The booth had pictures and informational fliers for people to look at, along with origami lotus flowers for people to receive as gifts. Sales representatives at the booth were available to help people purchase show tickets.

Because tickets are often sold out quickly, this year, people are able to start purchasing tickets earlier in the year.

“We know in the past years a lot of people, they plan to go to Shen Yun but at the last moment, tickets were sold out or they had other plans. So now we want to tell people that Shen Yun is here earlier, so people can plan ahead before tickets are sold out,” said Adele Wang, sales representative.

Shen Yun’s mission is to “revive the lost world of traditional Chinese culture and share it with everyone.” The show focuses on traditional Chinese dance and has a live orchestra that combines both Western instruments and ancient Chinese instruments.

People at the Fremont Festival of the Arts were able to learn more about the show and talk with the sales representative present at the booth.

“We want to let people know Shen Yun is here and share this beautiful show with people,” said Wang.
