Samir Bhamra a British artistic director, has lost four relatives in the terrorist attack on Nairobi’s Westgate mall.

Bhamra’s relatives were taking part in a television program called Superchef Junior on the roof of the mall when gunmen entered the building.

“They were young people who were taking part in a cookery contest in the centre. Unfortunately they have all passed away,” he said, according to the London Standard. “An aunt — my dad’s cousin — is critical in hospital.”

Bhamra, originally from Nairobi, runs a dance group in Leicester and has worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

He is listed as the director of “This Cymbeline,” a production currently touring in the United Kingdom through December 5.

Ruhila Adatia-Sood, another of the victims in the attack and a television host, was also at the Superchef Junior when she was killed.
