Malcolm Crowell, 22, and Daniel Rodriguez, 28, were both arrested after a double homicide in a Johnston, R.I., home on Sunday morning. The two victims were identified Monday as Evelyn Burgos, 40, and her daughter Vanessa Perez, 25.

Crowell is no longer a suspect and Rodriguez has been arraigned on two counts of murder and burglary. Crowell was Perez’s boyfriend. He was cooperative in the investigation, police told the Providence Journal. Rodriguez was Burgos’s boyfriend, and police are saying it was a case of domestic violence.

A two-year-old boy and two other children were also in the house at the time of the murder, reported the Journal. Isaiah Perez, 2, is the son of Vanessa Perez. He went missing Sunday morning and was found Sunday night wandering around a Providence housing project.
