Prince William and Kate Middleton’s recent pregnancy announcement has many supporters, including Princess Eugenie.

Eugenie, 24, is the second child of Prince Andrew and Princess Sarah, sister of Princess Beatrice, and niece of Diana, Princess of Wales.

William and Kate confirmed the rumors that Middleton was pregnant again earlier this week.

Following the announcement, Princess Eugenie toasted to the announcement along with Phil Winser and new friend Uzo Aduba, a star of Orange is the New Black.

The trio were at the Moet & Chandon suite at the US Open.

A eyewitness told E! News that Eugenie was in very festive spirits, expressing to Aduba how beyond “excited” she was of the news of the royal baby. She was also overheard saying she had “much to celebrate that night.”

The royal couple the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are thought to have only announced the pregnancy at this time because Kate is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, a type of severe morning sickness.

“Her Royal Highness will no longer accompany The Duke of Cambridge on their planned engagement in Oxford today,” The Clarence House said in a statement on Monday.

“The Duchess of Cambridge is being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace.”
