President Donald Trump on Saturday, Nov. 3, told supporters in the U.S. state of Montana that the upcoming midterm elections would be “one of the most important elections of our entire lives.”

Addressing supporters on the airport tarmac in Belgrade, he said the choice on Tuesday was between building on progress achieved under his administration or letting “radical” Democrats take a “giant wrecking ball” to the economy.

“America now has the best economy in the history of our country,” Trump said.

“I said it was going to happen. I just didn’t know it was going to happen this fast,” he added.

Trump opened Saturday’s rally by highlighting the Nov. 2 government report that employers added 250,000 jobs last month.

Unemployment held steady at 3.7 percent, its lowest rate in nearly 50 years, and pay rose at a healthy pace.

In addition to Montana, Trump has another rally later Nov. 3 in Florida.
