Donald Trump was spotted on camera watching his wife, Melania Trump, vote, drawing speculation.

Trump, as he was taking the time to fill out his ballot in his home state of New York, appeared to lean over and glance at what Melania was filling out. A number of mainstream media outlets made the unfounded claim that Trump was trying check to make sure his wife was voting Republican.

Trump cast his ballot inside Midtown’s P.S. 59 Beekman Hill International, which is located near the Trump Tower. He arrived at the scene with his wife, daughter Ivanka Trump, his son-in-law Jared Kushner, and Secret Service agents.

At the school, some protesters booed the Republican nominee—as Manhattan is a Democratic stronghold—while others cheered him.

When he was asked what candidate was getting his vote, Trump replied, “Tough decision.” Trump was also asked if he would concede to Democratic rival Hillary Clinton when the results come in, replying: “We'll see what happens.”

“Well I’ve really worked on this hard, but I have made that final decision, yes,” Trump said on Fox & Friends. “I’ve decided to vote for Trump,” he added.

Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, the vice presidential candidate, voted with his wife at their precinct in Indianapolis.

Clinton, joined by husband Bill Clinton, voted in Chappaqua, New York.
