The Philadelphia weather forecast today, February 3, calls for snow accumulations of up to eight inches.
A winter storm warning is in effect due to the heavy snow until 4 p.m. It includes warning people that they should only travel in an emergency.
Temperatures are slated to drop to a low around 24 Fahrenheit this evening with winds of six to eight miles per hour.
On Tuesday, it’s supposed to be mostly sunny with a high near 36 during the day.
It’s supposed to snow again early Wednesday morning, mainly after 1 a.m., with new accumulations of up to three inches predicted. There’s a 100 percent chance of precipitation. Winds will pick up to seven to 11 miles per hour.
Snow may continue until about 10 p.m. on Wednesday.
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are supposed to be clear and at least partly sunny, with highs reaching 31 degrees.
But there’s a 30 percent chance of snow on Saturday night and Sunday.
