An Amber Alert was activated in Oregon for Hannah and Ethan Anderson, two Southern California children, last seen Aug. 3 in San Diego County. They are suspected to be with suspected killer James DiMaggio, who is driving a blue sedan.

Oregon State Police said that DiMaggio’s car--a blue 2013 Nissan Versa with California license plates 6WCU986--was spotted in southern Oregon.

“A vehicle related to the AMBER Alert activation in California is believed to have been spotted Wednesday, August 7, in northern California along Highway 395/299 from Alturas northbound possibly toward Oregon or Nevada,” an alert from police reads.

It added: “At approximately 2:00 p.m. a possible sighting of the vehicle was reported in southern Oregon near Lakeview. Law enforcement officers from multiple agencies are on the lookout for the vehicle.”

KING-5 reported that an Amber Alert was issued in Washington state.

Hannah, 16, and Ethan, 8, may be with the the suspect.

DiMaggio is suspected of killing Christina Anderson, 44, after her body was found in his burned down home earlier this week.

The two children have not been seen since.

Their father, Brett Anderson, pleaded with DiMaggio on Wednesday.

“Jim, I can’t fathom what you were thinking,” he said, according to reports. “The damage is done.”

If anyone spots the blue Nissan, they should call 911 or Oregon police at 1-866-5AMBER5.
