Brightline, a high-speed passenger rail line in Florida, is offering free rides to up to two children 12 or younger, with the purchase of an adult Smart service ticket to help celebrate Family Fun Month.
Brightline offers service connecting Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach, with plans to expand to Orlando.
“When families use Brightline, the adventure starts with the journey to the destination, making the day filled with more adventure and unique opportunities to explore South Florida,” Brightline vice president of marketing Johanna Rojas said in a press release. “We encourage families to take advantage of these values, especially before the summer season comes to a close and school is back in session, and create memories that will last a lifetime.”
Family attractions beckon in the three cities, such as the Palm Beach Zoo, South Florida Science Center and Aquarium, Lion Country Safari, and Olympic-size ice rink at Palm Beach Ice Works in West Palm Beach; the Museum of Discovery and Science and Butterfly World in Fort Lauderdale; and the Miami Children’s Museum, Zoo Miami, and Jungle Island in Miami.
Brightline is the only privately owned and operated passenger rail system in the United States, according to GoBrightline.com.
