On April 16, Ken Densley of Sacramento, California shared the heartwarming story in a Facebook post.
The man, in his late 80s, was mowing his lawn when he passed out. Neighbors saw Densley’s father unconscious and immediately called emergency services.
After insuring that Densley’s father was indeed fine—the aged man even refused to be taken to hospital—one EMT “put away the gurney” while the other continued the mowing job.
While Densley told the kind emergency service worker that he should be doing it, the EMT insisted.
According to Densley, the EMT even put the mower away after he finished.
In an update to the original post—which received over 10,000 likes and nearly 2,000 shares—Densley said he did eventually bring his father to the hospital to be tested.
Currently, the senior Densley is “doing great.”
