OC to Hold Auction of 425 Foreclosed Properties

Orange County is planning to hold tax foreclosure auctions of about 425 properties. The auctions are scheduled to take place on Sept. 29 and 30. OC Commissioner of Finance Karin Hablow and Director of Real Property John McCarey announced the auctions on Sept. 7.

The public sale will take place at 10:00 a.m. on both days at the County’s Emergency Services Center at 22 Wells Farm Road in Goshen. Several of the properties will be available for viewing on September 28. More information about the auction will be available at nysauctions.com. A printed auction brochure can also be picked up at the County’s Real Property Office at 124 Main Street in Goshen or at any Town Clerk’s office in OC. A pamphlet can also be obtained by calling 1-800-243-0061.
