ALBANY, N.Y.—Online registration is open for New York’s four state-run environmental education summer camps.
Starting this spring, registration is online only, with paper applications and checks no longer accepted.
The camp fee is $350 per week. Activities include fishing, birding, fly-tying, archery, canoeing, hiking, orienteering and environmental study.
All four camps serve children ages 11 through 13: Camp Colby in Saranac Lake, Franklin County; Camp DeBruce in Livingston Manor, Sullivan County; Camp Rushford in Caneadea, Allegany County; and Pack Forest in Warrensburg, Warren County.
Pack Forest and Camp Rushford also host week-long Teen Ecology Workshops.
