`Absolutely I`m afraid. I don`t know anyone who has it, but let's wait and see,` Rabioma Vasquez, 36, Queens, Clerk (The Epoch Times)

NEW YORK—The swine flu epidemic started in Mexico and has spread to the United States. It has affected more then 91 Americans across the country, and 51 of them are in New York alone. The World Health Organization has said, "The outbreak is moving closer to becoming a full-scale pandemic." On the other hand some experts are claiming it is no more harmful than the common flu. So The Epoch Times wants to know: Are you afraid of the swine flu?

`No. There`s more chance of being hit by a bus, we have no control of what might happen, so what's the point of being afraid?` James Butler, 56, Manhattan (The Epoch Time)
`No, I`m not because I`m washing my hands and I`m not kissing pigs,` Miss Kimmm, 50, Manhattan (The Epoch Times)
`Yes, a little. A lot of people are getting sick, and it`s very contagious, so you have to be extra careful like wash your hands and watch who you shake hands with,` Sam Jaguar, 51, Bronx, Fire safety (The Epoch Times)
`Not really. There`s more chance of dying just by living in the City where anything can happen,` Mathew Cumberbath, 25, Brooklyn, Draftsman (The Epoch Times)
