The Kenyan military has named four men believed to have perpetrated the attack on the Westgate mall in Nairobi Kenya: Abu Baara al-Sudani, Omar Nabhan, Khattab al-Kene, and Umayr.

CCTV footage was aired showing four attackers in the mall. This calls into question government reports that there were 10 to 15 attackers and that nine were in custody.

It also could dispel rumors that the “White Widow,” Samantha Lewthwaite, participated in the attack. International police agency Interpol had issued a warrant for her arrest at the request of Kenyan authorities.

Lewthwaite, 29, is the British-born widow of one of the 2005 London suicide bombers, Germain Lindsay. She had been hiding in South Africa under an alias for years following the 2005 attack.
