This film is only available in North America, UK, Australia, Europe – except Italy and Switzerland because of territorial licensing.

The Maya were an imposing civilization that originated in Yucatan around 2600 B.C. and reached its full splendor around 250 A.D.

Among the pre-Columbian civilizations, the Maya are among the most intricate enigmas of history: a flourishing civilization that disappeared in a very short time and in unknown circumstances. Even their extraordinary knowledge of the stars and arithmetic are still being studied, and their mystery fascinates historians.

From studies and archaeological findings, it has been calculated that between 760 and 930 AD, one of the greatest civilizations on Earth entered into a sudden and inexplicable decline: the great Mayan cities of Chichen Itza, Tulum, and Altun Ha, in Mexico and Belize, in a few decades turned into piles of rubble and their inhabitants disappeared into thin air.
