Evidence of America’s reactionary and biased educational system is everywhere but nowhere so disturbing as in that supposed bastion of capitalism—corporate America.
“‘The first thing, I think, is that we actually do have an ideological frame. Myself and Alicia in particular are trained organizers,’” she said, referring to BLM co-founder Alicia Garza.
Despite being so overt, with the help of the mainstream media and other conscious/unconscious fellow travelers, BLM, almost in the communist front tradition of the 1930s, has succeeded in obfuscating their goals beneath a welter of self-satisfied moral narcissism.
But Marxism, of course, aims to overthrow the capitalist system. That would naturally include companies like American Airlines and Delta Airlines, which apparently is preparing a similar lapel pin. Indeed, BLM has been welcomed throughout corporate America whose leadership is terrified of being branded as racist.
It’s almost as if they wished for their own demise.
And corporate America is, as we know, not alone. BLM and its allies, including the mega-violent Antifa, have done a brilliant job of hiding the football (how appropriate), enlisting many sports stars and entertainment celebrities in their support.
Just Monday night, at the fan-free U.S. Tennis Open, the camera was trained frequently on the tennis shoes of African-American player Frances Tiafoe who had scribbled “Black Lives Matter” and “Respect Us” on his sneakers.
Respect us? Why wouldn’t we? Tiafoe seems like a perfectly nice guy and is one of the better American tennis players, although he met his match with Russia’s Danil Medvedev.
This “respect us” canard is troubling, especially since, in the vast majority of cases and from the vast majority of people, we already do and have for years.
Everything is being turned upside down and the ground has been well-prepared for it. As I alluded to in the first paragraph, these American Airlines executives who lemming-like support this propaganda are products of the same educational system we all are. They have been overtly and covertly been taught to accept or even embrace Marxism for decades.
In a very real sense, it has become the operating system of our education from kindergarten through graduate school. Now it is being codified in the 1619 Project recently inaugurated by the New York Times.
These ideas slip virtually unquestioned into the zeitgeist. Just a few years ago American corporations sensibly abjured controversial political stands in order not to alienate significant parts of the public, their customers. Now they take those positions with impunity.
