Last week’s proposed 12-player trade between Miami and Toronto finally became official Monday, according to a report on MLB’s website, after all 12 players passed physicals and commissioner Bud Selig gave his okay.

Selig is required to approve any deal with more than a million dollars changing hands—this one had $4 million heading from Miami to Toronto, which took on roughly $165 million in contracts of former Marlins’ players.

Going to Toronto are pitchers Josh Johnson and Mark Buehrle, shortstop Jose Reyes, catcher John Buck and infielder/outfielder Emilio Bonifacio. In return the Marlins will receive shortstop Yunel Escobar, infielder Adeiny Hechavarria, catcher Jeff Mathis, outfielder Jake Marisnick and pitchers Henderson Alvarez, Justin Nicolino, and Anthony DeSclafani.

Hechavarria, Marisnick and Nicolino are all ranked among the club’s top 10 prospects according to MLB.com.
