Marion Cotillard, the actress who played the wife of Leonardo DiCaprio’s character in the thriller Inception, is expecting her first child, according to Us Magazine and other reports.

The French actress will have the baby with actor/director Guillaume Canet, her representative told the magazine.

People magazine reports that the two are expecting the child in the spring.

Both starred in 2003's Love Me If You Dare and the couple began dating in 2007.

The 35-year-old actress won an Oscar Award for portraying French singer Edith Piaf in La Vie en Rose.

She is slated to appear in the upcoming Woody Allen film Midnight in Paris as well as the Steven Soderbergh film Contagion.
