MakerVille announced on Aug. 15, that in response to the serious incident that happened on Jul 28, at the MIRROR WE ARE LIVE Concert, all remaining shows have been canceled.
The artist management company has proposed two options for fans, ticket refund or exchange.

Refund Arrangement

MakerVille said, “All ticket holders who have purchased their concert tickets via Urbtix City Ticketing Network, Cityline, or through the Organizer Music Nation Productions Company Limited or MakerVille Company Limited can apply for a full refund, including handling fees from Sep 15, 2022, to Sep 14, 2023.”

Exchange Option

Alternatively, fans can keep the original valid tickets to exchange tickets of the same value at a future designated MIRROR Concert.

MakerVille stated that an announcement will be made no later than Sep 14, 2023, whether another concert can be arranged successfully. The Organizer urges ticket holders to stay updated via Music Nation’s or MakerVille’s social media platforms.

The Company also conveyed that if no concert rearrangement can be made by Sep 15, 2023, they will announce refund details on Sep 15, 2023.

As for those who bought livestream tickets via MakeALive, they will receive a full refund within 6 to 8 weeks via their original payment method.

Fans’ Reaction

While MIRROR’s fans appreciated the gesture of giving them options to either exchange or refund the tickets, they are reluctant to request a refund as it was difficult to get the tickets in the first place. Some felt that MIRROR’s effort should not be wasted, as they could see how hard the band worked for the concert.

Other netizens also commented to show support, “Rain or shine. We wait.”

Another one said, “We insist on exchanging and not getting a refund, no matter how long we have to wait for MIRROR.”

One of the fans also told MakerVille to learn from their mistakes, “As MIRROR fans, we understand you, (the organizer) want to show us the best visual effects possible. However, we would prefer you to provide a safe environment to the group and the dancers, and give them more time to prepare.”
