Soccer phenom Lionel Messi got married yesterday.

Soccer stars and celebrities were in attendance, including pop star Shakira and her soccer star husband. Altogether 260 people attended.

The wedding was held in the city Messi and wife Antonella Roccuzzo were born and raised in.

The city has had an enormous increase in crime since Messi’s childhood, so security was abundant.

Lionel and Antonella have known each other for years and already have two children together. They have two sons, a four-year-old and a one-year-old.

Lionel Messi is arguably the greatest modern soccer star. But despite league titles and awards, he has yet to achieve glory in international competition.
