On Sept. 12, networking nonprofit MOI’M held an event at NYU Skirball Center called “Inception: Hello New York,” which is New York’s biggest Korean school festival, welcome party, and mixer, all in one.

Renowned Korean fashion designer Lie Sang Bong came to the event to give special congratulatory remarks, but Lie Sang Bong wasn’t the only recognizable face at the event.

“Inception: Hello New York” also featured special guest singer and television personality Eric Nam, who gave an inspiring speech to the audience about his life journey, beginning from his life growing up in America to how he got where he is now.

After Eric Nam’s speech, he sang a few songs and answered questions. Some were even asked to come up to the stage and participate in a few games with Eric including charades, the shouting game, and finally a dance-off that determined one special winner who would win a round trip ticket to Korea.
