HKFA Senior Shield

The  HKFA Premier League took a break for the Senior Shield last weekend, with Saturday’s (Oct 21) opening quarter final; game between Kitchee and BC Rangers at Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground, with Kitchee running away with a comprehensive 5-nil victory, with goals by Alessandro Leonardo, Lam Ka-wai, Fernando Pedreira, Lucas da Silva and Alexander Akande.

In the later quarter final Sun Bus Yuen Long faced Wo Foo Tai Po at Mongkok Stadium, and Yuen Long eventually won 4-2 after extra time, with goals for Yuen Longs from Yiu Ho-ming, a brace from Aleksandar Randelovic, and another from Everton Camargo overcoming the goals for Wo Foo Tai Po from Eduardo Praes and Igor Sartori.

In Sunday’s (Oct 22) first quarter final, Kwoon Chung Southern took on Lee Man at Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground and won 2-nil with goals from Marcos Jiminez and Wellingsson Da Souza.

In the later quarter final, Eastern Long Lions played Hong Kong Pegasus at Mongkok Stadium,

O complete a 3-1 win with a brace from Manuel Rodriguez, and another from Aleksandar Kokko only offset by an Awal Mahama consolation for Hong Kong Pegasus.

In the Semi-finals, Kitchee play Yuen Long and Southern will play Eastern on Dec 24-25.

In the first division, HKFC were 2-nil victors over Metro Gallery, Citizen were 4-1 winners against Wanchai, Glory Sky Sun Hei were beaten 1-nil by Tung Sing, Double Flower were 2-nil winners against Wing Yee Property, Resource Capital FC won 2-nil against Kwun Tong, Hoi King were 1-nil victors over South China, and Sparta Rotterdam Mutual were beaten 1-2 by Sha Tin,

HKFC lead the table with 21 points from 7 matches, with Sparta Rotterdam Mutual and Sha Tin joint second with 16 points from the same matches.

Yau Yee League

 In the first division, Albion were 3-1 victors over Carnegies Boca Senior, Wanderers were 2-nil  winners against Baker Tilly Spartans, GAS won 6-1 against French Kiss, Swiss XI were 3-nil victors over Colts, and Azzurri were 5-nil winners against AFC Hearts.

Wanderers lead the table with 15 points from 5 matches, with Albion and Colts second with 12 points from the same matches.

In the second division, WYFC06 were 3-nil victors over ANP, Maccabi HK were 6-1 winners against Yan Po, White Youth FC drew 1-all with KCC knights, Colloids FC won 3-1 against Antonhill, IES were 2-1 victors over GGFC, and HKU70’s drew 1-al with Dynamo.

WYFC06 lead the table with 12 points from 5 matches, with HKU70’s second with 1 points from the same matches, and Maccabi HK third with 10 points from the same games.

In the third division, Grasshoppers drew 1-all with Darts, CSOB were 3-1 winners against Green Cypress FC, Power 22 won 3-1 against Scorpions, Corinthians were 3-nil winners against BOC, GoalVisio were beaten 2-3 by University, and HKSS won 4-3 against HOB.

Green Cypress FC, Corinthians and University lead the table with 12 points from 5 matches.
