John Stamos, who appeared in the Tuesday night episode of Glee, said that appearing on the show is a “dream.”

Stamos, who formerly played Uncle Jesse on Full House, appeared on Glee as a dentist who is the love interest of Emma Pillsbury.

“I’m having the best time,” he told OnTheRedCarpet.com, while at the Operation Smile gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. “It’s a dream, yesterday I got to sing and dance all day long with the cast and, you know for the fans out there, they’re everything you would want them to be.”

He took a series of classes “every day” on singing and dancing to prepare for the musical role.

On the show, he said the audience plays a major role in helping with the outcome of the show.

“I’m really excited to dig in there and treat it with respect. I’m such a fan of the show and I just what love the message of the show is and the celebration of diversity on the show,” Stamos said.

“I mean, there is just no apologies for those characters and I’m really proud to be a part of something like that.”
