The 2014 edition of the International Challenge for Pokemon X and Y on the Nintendo 3DS is set for the month of May.

The competition will be held from Thursday, May 15, 8:00 p.m. ET (May 16, 12:00 a.m. UTC) to Saturday, May 17, 7:59 p.m. ET (May 18, 11:59 p.m. UTC).

The ranking results announcement will be on Wednesday, May 21 at 8:00 p.m. ET (Thursday, May 22, 12:00 a.m. UTC). Time of announcement is subject to change.

Interested participants must register for the competition at the Pokémon Global Link (PGL). Registration is done on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once the participant limit of 50,000 is reached, registration will be closed.

Registration starts Thursday, May 7, 8:00 p.m. ET (May 8, 12:00 a.m. UTC) to Thursday, May 14, 7:59 p.m. ET (May 15, 11:59 p.m. UTC).

Players who have entered the rankings through this event will receive an Enigma Berry as a reward, and the top 128 players in the Junior/Senior and Masters age divisions will receive Championship Points.
