Most husbands who forget their anniversaries might show up with flowers, or chocolates, or a card, or all three, begging forgiveness and making excuses, knowing they messed up and just need to weather the storm.

Ronnie Alexander needed a helmet, a hockey goaltender’s face mask, and full body armor.

Patch.com reported that when Ronnie William Alexander, 41, forgot his anniversary, his wife, Carol Lynn Stone, 35, started yelling—and then lashing out.

Stone allegedly struck Alexander several times in the face, head, and chest, leaving scratches and marks.

Stone finished the fight, reportedly, by pushing her husband to the ground.

Alexander recorded the whole affair on his cellphone. He showed the video of his wife assaulting him to Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies.

The deputies arrested Stone and charged her with misdemeanor domestic battery.

Fox News reported that Stone also admitted beating up her husband to deputies.

Pasco County deputies took her to the Land O' Lakes, Florida Detention Center and held on a $150 bond.

The Zephyrhills, Florida, couple had just had a child on Dec. 18. Their anniversary was Wednesday, March 22. Now they have a court date, too.

It is likely Ronnie Alexander will never forget his anniversary again.
