Global Q&A: ‘Do you have concerns for your children’s future in your country?’
Lima Peru: Manuel Ruiz, 53, Businessman: I do worry about my children’s future; I wish for their well-being in life, but my country is still developing. It has a future, but our current government isn’t so great, it needs more economic reform. A few years ago, our former president did it, but now we are stumped—at a standstill. Our current president has done some improvements: built roads, schools, et cetera, even tried to fix the economy. As for changes, I would like to see more jobs and a decrease in delinquency.

Concerns include career, education and economic opportunities, as well as the availability of health care facilities and the wish for a reduced rate of delinquency. This is what Epoch Times reporters from areas such as Peru to Australia discovered when they asked locals, “Do you have concerns for your children’s future in your country?”
