Top chefs from America’s South will gather in New York City for a Southern Wing Showdown, where they’ll present their own takes on chicken wings, using humanely-raised birds from Georgia’s Springer Mountain Farms.
Participating chefs include Georgia’s Todd Richards (Richards’ Southern Fried) and Savannah Sasser (Hampton + Hudson); the Carolinas’ Daniel Doyle (Poogan’s Porch and Smokehouse) and Thomas Marlow (Mimosa Grill); and Tennessee’s Eric Fulkerson (Bald Headed Bistro). Attendees get to vote for their favorite wing. They will also cook up twists on Southern classics like Fried Sriracha-Pimento Grit Cakes and Georgia Peach Blondies topped with glazed pecans and peach sorghum.
