The Evanston Wildkits were down by two points with 2.6 seconds left on the clock.

But Blake Peters wasn’t about to give up.

Watch the teen in the #15 jersey pick up a rebound from the opponent’s free throw, wrangle past a defender and shoot a miracle three-pointer across almost the entire court.

The crowd went wild after the ball went in.

Peters is a freshman at Evanston. According to Chicago Tribune, he threw the winning buzzer beater 80 feet from the basket.

“I felt relief,” Peters said of the shot which was featured as the #1 play on ESPN. “I threw it thinking I was going to make it.”
