A gunman shot and killed four people and wounded five others at a Kansas City bar early Sunday morning.

The shooting took place at a location at 10th and Central Ave. in Kansas City on Oct. 6, according to the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department via a statement on Twitter.

The suspect, who remains at large, entered Tequila KC bar at around 1:27 a.m. Sunday, and began shooting, according to Thomas Tomasic of the Kansas City police, via CNN.

Four people were killed and five others wounded. Tomasic told the outlet the injured were taken to hospital in stable condition.

The gunman has been described only as a Hispanic male, ABC reported. No other details about the suspect were disclosed.

“We do not have a good enough description yet, to put anything out for a suspect, or suspects, we don’t even know how many,” Tomasic told CNN.

The motive for the shooting is unknown. Police continue to investigate.

The incident comes just weeks after two separate shootings in Texas, which left 44 people dead.
