FRANKFURT, Europe—Dr. Wolfgang Klotzer and his wife, Ingrid, attended the closing Shen Yun Performing Arts performance at the Frankfurt Jahrhunderthalle, on Sunday evening March 16.

Dr. Klotzer is a retiree and former head at the Frankfurt Institute of Urban History/Department of Municipal Archives. He explained that the archive kept documents going back 1,000 years and therefore he is quite interested in historical records.

Dr. Klotzer felt Shen Yun presented the heritage of the Chinese people.

“I realized that they are totally immersed in the dance and all they do is not just superficial on the outside, but it comes from their heart, from their inside,” he said.

Ms. Klotzer said that Shen Yun was “The best she has ever seen and was fascinating.”

Her husband said, “I was taken by surprise. I did have high expectations, but this show by far exceeded my expectations.”

They both agreed Shen Yun came at an opportune time and would be something that they would love to see.

Ms. Klotzer said, “Every time we read about a show, we think back and forth if we should go and see it. But, this show appeared so interesting, we just had to go and see it.”

Dr. Klotzer said, “We received a flyer about the show and were immediately interested. I thought that must be a marvelous show, which it turned out to be. It is fantastic.”

His wife continued, “It was so surprising to feel this energy and the see the strength shown by the performers. It looks so easy, but I’m sure it is hard work.”

Ms. Klotzer will never forget the precision and unison displayed by the dancers. “Every dancer knew his and her exact place and didn’t deviate from it.”

Both will definitely talk to friends and acquaintances encouraging them to see Shen Yun. “It is a pity that this is this year’s last show in Frankfurt,” said Dr. Klotzer.
