Footage Shows Vandals in Philadelphia Tearing Apart Gas Station
A video shows vandals in Philadelphia tearing apart a gas station following the Eagles’ Super Bowl win.
Police released the footage Tuesday showing vandals trashing a gas station in South Philadelphia after the Super Bowl victory.
They can be seen throwing items and tipping over shelves.
Later, other people can be seen grabbing items from the shelves en masse.
The footage was captured at a Sunoco on South Broad Street at around 12:30 a.m. on Monday—two hours after the Super Bowl victory.
“They acted like complete and utter idiots and we are coming after those folks. You better believe it,” Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross told Fox.
Police are planning for a turnout of as many as 3 million people for the Eagles’ Super Bowl parade.
