Fire Fauci to Brighten a Black Black Friday

Were you looking for bargains this Black Friday?

If you’re among the 56 percent of Americans who own stock, according to Gallup, no doubt you noticed the Dow dropped 2.53 percent.

If you have a 401K, you may have lost as much as two years of retirement.

I bet your bargain-hunting slowed a bit. Mine did. I don’t anticipate going overboard on Cyber Monday as well.

The economy will take a hit. Crude has already dropped to $70 a barrel with ZeroHedge puckishly wondering if Biden will try to take credit for that. Good luck.

The proximate cause of all this is the sudden appearance of the heavily-mutated strain of COVID-19 coming out of South Africa, now called Omicron. But if we are being honest, the overall situation is dimmer than that.

This is a market crash that was waiting to happen and it is only surprising that it has not been more severe.

The pandemic has been mishandled from the start, especially in the United States of America that most of us growing up assumed was the world leader in health. It had the most Nobel Prize winners in medicine. Most medical inventions started here. We were always on or near the top of the life expectancy list for all nations.

But we blew it—big time. We are nowhere near the top of that list now. Indeed we are down at number 47, below such places as Lebanon and Cuba. Why?

We also were among the highest in COVID-19 fatalities on a percentage basis. Why to that as well?

A serious obesity problem is part of it, but there are other explanations emerging from our government’s health policies over many years.

On the advice of readers of my positive review of Scott Atlas and Alex Berenson’s books, I have been reading Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s “The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health.”

It is an extraordinary indictment of Fauci and quite believable because it is extremely well-documented, also because RFK Jr. is a Democrat and clearly no admirer of Donald Trump. Every single page of this lengthy, but highly readable, book contains further details of the doctor’s malfeasances or worse.

What follows is just one passage selected at random—the page that happens to be open at this moment on my iPad. (I have been reading the Kindle version because the type in the print edition is disturbingly small, even, I would imagine, for people younger than I.)

“America’s COVID czar, Dr. Fauci never complained about the CDC’s decision to skip autopsies from deaths attributed to vaccines. This practice allowed CDC to persistently claim that all deaths following vaccination were ‘unrelated to vaccination.’ CDC also refused to conduct follow-up medical inquiries among people claiming vaccine injuries. Inspired by rich incentives to classify every patient as a COVID-19 victim—Medicare paid hospitals $39,000 per ventilator when treating COVID-19 and only $13,000 for garden variety respiratory infections—hospitals contributed to the deception. Once more, Dr. Fauci winked at the fraud.

“Dr. Fauci’s refusal to fix the HHS’s notoriously dysfunctional vaccine injury surveillance systems (VAERS) constituted inexcusable negligence. HHS’s own studies indicate that VAERS may be understating vaccine injuries by OVER 99 percent.” All statistics footnoted in the original.

As I noted, this passage was chosen at random. The number of other passages are legion that suggest that Anthony Fauci is not working for the American people, but is one extremely highly-paid and possibly corrupt employee of Big Pharma. The word employee is prompted by the financial intertwining of our government health agencies and the pharmaceutical companies, documented over decades in the book, is more than I had imagined—and I had imagined a lot.

According to RFK Jr., Dr. Anthony Fauci has been responsible for much of this during his long reign. He appears uninterested in cures that do not involve expensive vaccines or pills. As Kennedy puts it: “Dr. Fauci’s neglect of natural immune response was consistent with the pervasive hostility to any non-vaccine intervention that characterized the federal regulatory gestalt.”

No interest in natural immunity. No interest even in vitamin D. It’s about the money, as H.L. Mencken quipped. Money and its partner in crime—power.

Kennedy writes what most of us realize about these greedy, inhuman policies—that minorities are those who suffer most from them. This assault on these communities they claim to support has been, for some time, the big lie of the Democratic Party and you have the sense that RFK Jr., of all people, knows that, although he doesn’t quite say it.

Nevertheless, bravo for him for what he has done.

He has made it clear, assuming it wasn’t, that Fauci must go for the sake of the health of the country, of our children, and us.

Yes, I am aware that the president—or occupant of the White House, if you prefer—cannot easily fire someone in Anthony Fauci’s entrenched bureaucratic position because of a system for which the word moribund is an understatement.

But Biden could, if he wished, sideline him. Unfortunately, the president—or whoever is making the decisions for him—doesn’t so wish.

As with so much else, it is up to us. Now more than ever, with this new COVID strain emerging, we need a rational, not a wildly self-interested and narcissistic, person at the helm of our response.

And if you need any more convincing, if you’re still a Fauci devotee with a religious belief in the mRNA vaccines—looked upon with great suspicion by their own inventor, Dr. Robert Malone—be aware that all four “Nu” (Omicron) variant patients from Botswana were vaccinated for COVID-19

ADDENDUM: As information about the Omicron variant comes in, it becomes clearer that those doctors highlighted by Kennedy (McCollough, Risch, and the rest) have the correct, life-saving approach. The vaccines are dangerous and not nearly as effective as not just ivermectin, and hydroxy, but a host of possible early drug interventions including Famotidine, Quercetin, and various nutraceuticals, corticosteroids, anticoagulants and so forth that, taken early on, avoid hospitalization and death.

Fauci, as we know, took the exact opposite, vaccines at all costs, approach. I regret to say, that according to reports he is leading our discussions on Omicron with the South Africans.
