On April 17, 2020, between 11:00 a.m. EST and 2:30 p.m. EST, some Epoch Times readers received an alert when visiting our website warning of an SSL certificate problem.
The problem was caused by a major service outage of our content delivery network (CDN) provider, StackPath.
The outage did not result in any of our readers’ private information being affected.
