At 12:01 a.m. Monday The Epoch Times launched a new version of its Web site.

The new Web site will, in fact, deliver more news on its front page than the old site, in part because it will have five rotating lead stories. The rotating lead stories will allow the site to feature simultaneously important news articles from around the world.

Another distinctive feature of the site’s home page is a carousel that will hold the top content of the day from the non-news sections.

“Our paper has excellent feature content, and the carousel will help readers more easily find that content on the site,” said editor-in-chief John Nania.

The site will also have eye-catching archives for some of The Epoch Times favorite authors, and an improved interface making it easier for readers to navigate the site.

“We consider this launch to be an important step forward for The Epoch Times, as we grow, expand, and work hard to serve our readers better. However, more improvements to the site will be brought online in the coming months.” said Mr. Nania.
